‘Elektronik Land’ is a unique bi-yearly award for electronic music in Austria.
The awards mission statement is to support young and upcoming composers and producers with an innovative approach to computer based music. Its main criteria for winning the price is rooted in conceptual and formal innovation paired with self-made sound design and a professional technical production. Former internationally recognized award winners are Dorian Concept, Ogris Debris, Johanna Quehenberger and many more.
‘Elektronik Land’ was founded by the federal state of Salzburg in close collaboration with the local art & culture center ARGEKultur.
